Sunday School Classes and Small Groups
Following in the footsteps of our Founder, John Wesley, we believe that small groups are central to our growth and spiritual development. Our Sunday School classes and small groups offer this environment providing support and accountability with other Christian followers. We have several classes and small groups to choose from. We welcome you to visit these classes to find the right fit for you.

In light of the COVID-19 Pandemic, Sunday School Classes are not all meeting in the traditional 10am Sunday School hour. If you would like to connect with a specific group, please reach out to Rebekah Ducote ([email protected]alcrestumc.org) so she can connect you with the class leader.
We are middle-aged couples and singles who focus on round table and open discussions about the Christian life.
In-Person (Room 434) and via Zoom
Comprised of couples and singles, this class focuses on discussion-based Bible study with shared responsibility for leadership.
Spares and Pairs
Growing in discipleship is our principal focus. We are couples and singles in our 30's and 40's that seek to grow closer to Christ through fellowship, study, and service. On Sundays, we often study and discuss principles of the Bible in today's context.
The Interpreters class was founded in the 1970s and is the longest-standing Sunday School class at Signal Crest. While most of the members of this class were not here in the '70s, they have joined this class for the outstanding fellowship gained through shared Christian experiences. Most of the members of this class are retired and empty nesters.
Library (Room 305)
"Free therapy and lots of laughter" is what you will find in the Women's class. Women of all ages and stages get together in this class to discover spiritual truth and light through the open discussion of various studies.
Do not meet in the summer.
The Seasons class is made up of empty nesters (or almost empty nesters) looking for a small group. They have two twelve to fourteen-week Sunday School sessions each year. One in the spring and one in the fall. New members are welcome!
Leap of Faith
A relaxed yet spirited group that meets weekly to connect and partake in a faith-centered lesson. Mostly made up of parents with preschool and elementary-age children. This group also tries to meet for fellowship outside of class monthly.
Faith, Family, and Friendship
Youth Loft (Room 608)
An unstructured alternative to traditional Sunday School, this round table of Christian friends meets weekly to talk about the challenges of faith-based parenting and modeling the Christian lifestyle in the workplace.
Small Groups meet at various times. Contact Rebekah Ducote ([email protected]) for more information.
Tuesday Nights 6 PM, Library (Room 305)
A small group that explores different spiritual disciplines and how to use them to help them grow in their faith.
Meeting in person with a Zoom option available.
MWF 9 AM - 10 AM, Children's Area
A small group focused on exercise and devotions. Meet Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 9 am in Children's Area.
