Summer mission trips
Each summer we encourage our students to participate in summer mission trips. Our middle school students spend a week at Camp Lookout, on Lookout Mountain, serving in the Chattanooga area and participating in Camp acttivites. Our high school students rotate each year between serving with Appalachia Service Project and somewhere urban like Washington D.C.
Middle High Mission Week
Our middle school students had a great time at Middle High Mission Week! Our week at Camp was filled with service, new friends, lots of adventures, and quality time with Jesus. Each day our students had the opportunity to serve somewhere in the Chattanooga Area (Mustard Tree Ministry, Bethlehem Center, Chambliss Center, Widow's Harvest, Camp Lookout). Thank you for all your prayers during the week! We can't wait until next year!
Be sure to save the date! Middle High Mission Week will be June 4-8, 2018!
High School Mission Week
Appalachia Service Project is a Christian ministry, that inspires hope and service through volunteer home repair in Central Appalachia. Our students will work with Signal Crest adult volunteers to help provide warmer, safer, and drier homes for low-income families. Student will learn how to work with their hands to share the love of Jesus Christ with others. Students do not need to have any prior construction or home repair experience, just a desire to serve.
The cost for students to attend the high school mission week is $325. Students must register by May 5 with a $25 deposit. Space is limited to 15 students. After May 5, registration is subject to availability.
