Summer mission trips

Each summer we encourage our students to participate in summer mission trips.  Our middle school students spend a week at Camp Lookout, on Lookout Mountain, serving in the Chattanooga area and participating in Camp activities.  Our high school students rotate each year between serving with Appalachia Service Project and having an urban mission experience.


Middle High Mission Week

June 3-7, 2019

During the summer our middle school students have the opportunity to serve at Camp Lookout for Middle High Mission Week.  Middle High Mission Week is a fun week filled with service, new friends, lots of adventures, and quality time with Jesus.

Each morning our students have the opportunity to serve somewhere in the Chattanooga Area (Mustard Tree Ministry, Bethlehem Center, Chambliss Center, Widow's Harvest, Camp Lookout, etc.).  In the afternoons they get to enjoy all the fun camp has to offer.  We end each night with a time of worship.

The cost for each student to attend is $300.  Students should plan to sign up early because space is limited.  Once your student has registered, a non-refundable $25 deposit is due to reserve their spot.

 



High School Mission Week

This summer we are excited for our high school students to be serving in Centeral Applacia.  We will partner with Appalachia Service Project to help make homes in the community warmer, safer, and drier.

While there, our students will be assigned to work on 2-3 different building projects.  In the midst of construction, we will spending time interacting with the families we've been assigned to serve.  We'll spend time in worship, growing closer to God, and learning lessons that will enrich our faith and build our character.

 

The cost for each student to attend is $400.  This includes the cost of lodging, meals while there, and a portion of the transportation expense.  Students should be prepared to pay for 3-4 travel meals and any snacks or souvenirs they may want.

Space is limited, so students should sign up early.

Once your student has registered, a $50 non-refundable deposit is due to hold their spot.
